APPLY TO VOLUNTEER

if you want to help, we’ll be glad to see you

OMA is a volunteer-based, community action network. We always have work that needs doing both on the ground in Oxford and remotely. We welcome all types of skill sets, experience and time committments!

A person with glasses and long, curly hair organizing groceries in a storage room, handling products from green crates, with shelves filled with packages in the background. They are a volunteer packing a food parcel.
A Young man volunteer wearing glasses reads a sheet of paper while standing in front of metal shelves filled with plastic crates and grocery items.
A young female cyclist wearing a bike helmet stands beside her blue bicycle, holding a basket filled with groceries, including bread, cucumbers, celery, and other fresh produce, in front of a white house with arched windows and a green door.

A mutual aid organisation we focus on building solidarity by bringing individuals together to grow networks of support across their communities. Many of our volunteers are local people receiving support from OMA whilst extending that support to others.

We are all in this together.

Want to Help?

You can volunteer on a regular or ad-hoc basis, committing as much or as little time as you wish! Every small effort helps end hunger in Oxford!

Remote Roles

We always need remote volunteering support in coordinating and organising our many deliveries, as well as keeping on top of the administrative tasks – rotas, packing lists and more!

In Person Roles

We have a number of in person volunteer roles. Hall volunteers pack the food parcels and drivers/bikers deliver to households across Oxford, both during the day and in the evenings.
